Auskick program
Auskick is a program designed to teach the basic skills of Australian rules football to boys and girls aged between 5 and 12. Auskick is a non-contact variant of the sport. At the Power, our Auskick runs for 8 weeks (dependent on weather) in Term 1, starting date still to be determined. We think that Auskick is the best fun kids can have being active!
In our weekly sessions kids will explore the world of AFL, building football skills and playing in a safe and super fun setting. Expect small groups, heaps of games and some parent/guardian involvement. Auskick isn’t just a program for kids – it’s for parents to get involved too! We’re all about families on the field together, having fun learning and celebrating those footy ‘firsts’ with their Auskickers. It’s super easy to help out, even if you’re not familiar with Australian Rules Football.
Registration will open on 1st of November 2024 for term 1 of the 2025 program.
Auskick session details
Tuesdays 5pm
Sessions are held on Tuesday afternoons starting at 5pm at our home ground Peter Phelan Memorial oval, Redbank Plains Recreation Reserve, Moreton avenue Redbank plains QLD. 2025 program dates to be advised.
